Dreame X60 Pro Ultra Complete vs Roborock Saros 20
How the independent professional reviews compare these two products. Higher values are highlighted; a difference of a few points is within normal disagreement between reviewers.
Reviewers agree the X60 Pro Ultra Complete is the best robot vacuum yet at the two jobs Dreame designed it for: reaching edges and corners, and crossing tall thresholds. Its mop arm extends 18 cm and its side brush 12 cm, and the ProLeap chassis climbs double steps up to 10 cm, which TechRadar, CHIP, Computer Bild, home&smart and Lyd & Bilde all confirm on their own test floors. Scores are high - home&smart 98/100, Computer Bild 1.1 sehr gut, TechRadar 4.5/5, CHIP 1.4 sehr gut, netzwelt 9.2/10 - but the price is the constant complaint. Navigation is where they split: Les Numériques found it keeps 20 cm away from obstacles and barely touches skirting boards, while CHIP and inside digital rate its obstacle detection near-flawless. Buy it for edges, thresholds and automation; expect a 1,499 EUR bill.
Best for: Homes with high or double door thresholds. TechRadar measures up to 10 cm on double steps and 5.2 cm on single ones, CHIP measured 52 mm, netzwelt cleared a 6.8 cm obstacle and Lyd & Bilde says the robot passed all seven thresholds in its test flat.; Buyers who care about edges and corners. Computer Bild collected 19 of 20 corn kernels in its corner test, and the 18 cm mop arm plus 12 cm side brush are confirmed by the manufacturer page and by TechRadar, CHIP, home&smart, netzwelt, inside digital and Les Numériques.; Low furniture. CHIP, Computer Bild, TechRadar, netzwelt, home&smart and Lyd & Bilde all note the 8.9 cm body with the retractable LiDAR turret, which gets under beds, sofas and 10 cm clearances.; Hair-heavy and pet households. Computer Bild and home&smart report no tangling on long hair, Amazon buyers rate cleaning performance positively in 59 of 72 mentions, and TechRadar says it never had to cut hair out of the rollers in six weeks.
Skip it if: You want a bargain. The list price is 1,499 EUR / GBP 1,299, home&smart calls it no bargain and inside digital says a Roborock Qrevo Edge 2 under 1,000 EUR is better value for a simple flat, while Les Numériques says it cannot compete with cheaper equals such as the Narwal Flow.; Clean skirting boards and wall edges matter most to you. Les Numériques found the robot keeps about 20 cm away from obstacles, does not cover under-chair areas and cleans badly along skirting boards, and Computer Bild found the extra skirting brush worked loose from the mop arm during testing.; You have small clutter on the floor. TechRadar watched it drive straight over a small bottle and a lighter, CHIP watched it swallow Lego bricks and a sock, and home&smart reports it occasionally nudges furniture.; You want the simplest possible app. home&smart and Computer Bild both warn that the feature set can overwhelm, and Lyd & Bilde calls the Dreamehome app cluttered with an avatar that will not switch off.

Reviewers agree the Saros 20 is one of the most capable robot vacuums available, and that its value case is thin at $1,599.99. Nine qualifying full reviews from seven independent groups were analysed: ZDNET recorded the best mid-pile carpet result it has measured and 91% cable avoidance, Mashable scored navigation 4.9 out of 5, and Notebookcheck reported very good suction. Criticism centres on price, which TechRadar scored 3.5 out of 5, and on a dock critics describe as noisier and cheaper-feeling than the model it replaces. Three of the seven groups publish a number.
Best for: Homes with carpets and pets where suction is the priority. ZDNET recorded the best mid-pile carpet performance of any robot it has tested, roughly twice the Saros 10 and five times the 10R on sand-in-carpet.; Houses with high thresholds. AdaptiLift Chassis 3.0 clears about 8.8 cm in two steps, and Notebookcheck writes that no door threshold could stop it.; Buyers who want the mop washed for them and the bin emptied rarely: the RockDock washes the pads at 100 °C and its dust bag is emptied roughly every two months.
Skip it if: Value decides your purchase. TechRadar scored value for money 3.5 out of 5, ZDNET calls $1,600 the top of the range, and Mashable names the Dreame X60 Max Ultra Complete as more reliable for less money.; You need the quietest dock, or the roller-mop behaviour of the Flow. TechRadar finds the dust-bag drying cycle loud, and the Flow is a different variant.; You want the lower European entry price. The €899 model is the Neo, a Europe-only variant with a different mop, not this one.
